Following his move to Hull City, Tyler Morton is ready to continue where he left off in the Championship.
The Liverpool midfielder spent the previous campaign on loan at Rovers, making 46 appearances across all competitions as Jon Dahl Tomasson’s team came just short of a play-off berth and also saw success in cup tournaments.
After suffering a foot ailment that caused him to miss most of his time at Ewood Park, Morton joined the Tigers on Deadline Day and is ready to start playing.

“I’m going to have an amazing season here. I can’t wait to perform in front of the crowd and show them who I am.
“I can’t wait for the season to officially begin for myself. I can’t wait to get started.”
Last Saturday, Morton witnessed his new teammates defeat Leicester 1-0 thanks to a first-half strike from Manchester City loanee Liam Delap.
He added, “I was quite impressed. “It’s obvious that the club has a family atmosphere, which is fantastic.
“I think the boys were outstanding throughout. I believed we were the superior team and played some outstanding football.
“We played out from the back, which is essential to our style of play, and we were quite brave traveling to Leicester. It was a pleasure to witness.
Hull has accumulated 10 points during their first five games and is now ranked sixth in the Championship table.
At Ewood Park last month, Liam Rosenior’s team won by a slim 2-1 margin courtesy to a late double from Aaron Connolly. After Harry Pickering was dismissed from the game, Rovers played the majority of the match with 10 players, but Sam Gallagher gave them the lead.
