REAL REASON SmackDown star was ABSENT from show
Luke Gallows missed SmackDown last week because he had been away from WWE programming due to an injury.
In the SmackDown program from last night, AJ Styles had a significant role in the plot. Styles participated in the opening segment alongside Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and John Cena. Cena and Styles’ squad made the announcement that they would compete against The Bloodline in a tag team battle at Fastlane.
However, before he could sign the contract for this bout in the main event, members of The Bloodline attacked the former IWGP World Champion. After this beating, Styles was brought to the hospital in an ambulance. Fans found it interesting that Luke Gallows was absent from the performance yet Karl Anderson was seen by Styles’ side as he was being carried out.

Luke Gallows is injured
Recent information on Gallows’ condition and the likely cause of his absence from WWE programming was revealed by Fightful Select. The SmackDown star is reportedly suffering with a knee ailment, they claim:
“Gallows last teamed with the OC at a live event in Canada, more than a month ago. Gallows needed to have his knee scoped, and Fightful was informed that he would be out for around six weeks. But we don’t know when the knee was scoped, and we don’t yet know if the recovery period will last six weeks from the scope or from today. We’ll work to find out more details on that.
According to earlier accounts, LA Knight was also originally intended to be a part of this plot. Popular star was abruptly dropped from the program.
