Workington Golf Club A, the current Division One winners of the L&L Property Contractors Snooker League, put on their most convincing display of the year.
They delivered Division Two’s Rack Shack a 5-0 drubbing.
The Golf Club A team led 1-0 after a strong performance from Bryan Walker in the opening frame of the match, but Phil Sorfleet overcame his teammate for a 2-0 lead with a break of 41 in the next.After being put to the test in the third, Ryan Ismay emerged victorious, and with Lewis Tilley winning the fourth, the lead for the golfers was now 4-0.

Dave Holland capitalized on the break building act in the last frame of the game, ending the match in a fashion that helped the Cons win 4-1. Holland finished with a contribution of 34.
Workington’s Station Road Club defeated Division Two’s Workington Golf Club B 4-1 at home to exact revenge for last week’s TKO handicap defeat.
Station Road Club led 2-0 after John Teasdale won the first game on the colors and his teammate Steve Lowery won the second on the black.\
After a relatively easy win for Tom Thompson in frame four, the score was 3-0, but Ryan Pearson’s dominant performance in frame four ensured that any worries about a whitewash were eliminated.
