In an effort to cling onto Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson until the very end of the season, Eddie Howe of Newcastle has turned down bids for both players.
Trippier allegedly reached a personal terms agreement with Bayern Munich on Saturday following the German powerhouses’ desire to recruit the England star on loan, which included an obligation to purchase.
Newcastle is worried about the Premier League’s sustainability and profit policies, which is why they are doing this. It has been suggested that in order to balance the books, they could have to break up with important players.
Thomas Tuchel wants to bring Trippier to Bayern Munich in an attempt to capitalize on that circumstance.
Sky Sports claims that Newcastle has “no interest” in losing its first-choice right-back, though.
Trippier is still a key member of the Magpies’ lineup despite his fairly patchy showing this season.
This season, the 33-year-old has made 28 appearances across all competitions, tallying an incredible eight assists along the way.
Tuchel’s desire to get Trippier is understandable, but it appears the Bayern manager will have to go elsewhere for a new full-back.

Wilson’s offer from Atletico Madrid is rejected by Newcastle
As previously known, Wilson had an offer this past weekend, but Howe has made the decision to keep the striker in the team for the remainder of the month.
Atletico Madrid reportedly attempted to recruit Wilson on a loan, but Newcastle swiftly rejected the move, according to Sky Sports.
Despite his struggles with injuries this season, the 31-year-old has managed to add seven goals to the Premier League.
As a Wilson substitute, Atletico is now going to concentrate on acquiring former Everton striker Moise Kean.
Even if a January departure from Newcastle doesn’t appear likely, he might still wind up departing at
till the season’s conclusion.
The Magpies are thinking about making Wilson an offer as part of a summer partial exchange for Dominic Solanke, a striker for Bournemouth, as TEAMtalk revealed.
Solanke, who has scored an amazing 12 goals in the league this season, was recently approached by Newcastle to join, but the Cherries won’t allow him to go in the middle of the campaign.
However, if the Cherries get a sizable offer next summer, they could be persuaded to let him leave, and rumors have it that Howe is prepared to include Wilson to sweeten the pot.
