After extending her WNBA record for double-doubles in Friday night’s exciting 88-84 Chicago Sky victory over the Seattle Storm, Angel Reese garnered even more attention. In other action, the Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Las Vegas Aces 98-93 in overtime. The Dallas Wings defeated the Atlanta Dream 85-82 to snap a winless streak of their own.
The Chicago Sky defeated the Seattle Storm 88-84, setting a new record for the most straight WNBA games in which Angel Reese has recorded a double-double.
Reese, who has made incredible development this season, had a historic night with a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds.
With an average of 11.8 and 4.8 rebounds per game, respectively, she leads the division in both offensive and defensive rebounds.
With a season-high 33 points, Chennedy Carter led Chicago in scoring as the Sky won their eighth game of the year.
