With a four-run 10th inning, the Braves pull away.

Tuesday night in Minneapolis, the Atlanta Braves defeated the Minnesota Twins 8-6 in 10 innings thanks to 3-for-5 hitting, a double, and two RBIs from Ramon Laureano.

For Atlanta, which won for the eighth time in the previous ten games, Michael Harris II went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs. Marcell Ozuna ended with two doubles, two RBIs, and a 2-for-4 total.

Leading the Twins, Trevor Larnach went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBIs. Minnesota, which has dropped its last three games, had one RBI apiece from Matt Wallner, Edouard Julien, and Jose Miranda.Raisel Iglesias (4-1) of the Braves delivered 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to get the victory.Jhoan Duran (6-8) of the Twins took the loss after giving up four runs (three earned) on four hits in a third of an inning as a relief.

With four runs in the top of the tenth, the Braves completely blew up the game. With a fielder’s choice ground ball to second, Matt Olson scored the first run. Travis d’Arnaud then made it 6-4 with an RBI single to center in the following at-bat.

Laureano drove in Olson and d’Arnaud with a double to center to conclude the dramatic inning.

In the bottom of the tenth inning, Miranda and Larnach’s RBI singles gave the Twins two runs.In the second, Atlanta took an early 2-0 lead. Olson doubled to left to start the inning, and Harris singled to right to score two runs after one out.

Atlanta added two more runs in the fifth to take a 4-0 lead. With the bases loaded and two outs, Ozuna came up to the plate and crushed a double to left.

In the sixth, Minnesota narrowed its deficit to 4-3.

Larnach doubled to left a few moments after Willi Castro led off with a single. Larnach was then driven in by Wallner’s single to right, and in the subsequent at-bat, Julien doubled to right to drive home Wallner from first.In the ninth, the Twins tied the game 4–4. After Castro hit a two-out double, Larnach tied the score with an RBI single in the following at-bat.
