MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) โ The City of Myrtle Beach will begin their annual mosquito spraying on Monday.
Officials said this spraying regulates mosquito population and does not affect animals or humans.
The spraying will begin in the late evening on the following schedule:
Mondays: 62nd Avenue North to northern City Limits (except Del Webb community)
Tuesdays: 21st Avenue North to 62nd Avenue North, including all of the Del Webb community on the west side of Highway 17.
Wednesdays: Third Avenue South/Highway 501 to 21st Avenue North.
Thursdays: 17th Avenue South to Third Avenue South (includes Highway 15 corridor).
Fridays: 17th Avenue South to southern city limits.
