PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A motorcycle chase turned deadly Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
FHP says at around 11:30, one of their troopers tried to conduct a traffic stop on a red Suzuki sport motorcycle near Front Beach Road. They say the driver failed to comply and fled west on Front Beach Road.
FHP says the chase continued along Front Beach Road when the motorcyclist lost control. They say this led to the motorcyclist to crash and eject from the vehicle.
We’re told FHP troopers immediately performed aid to the driver, giving CPR until EMS and Panama City Beach fire rescue arrived at the scene.
