PAOK are reportedly pushing hard to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Jonny before the end of the January transfer window.
Wolves defender Jonny Castro Otto is joining PAOK.
The Spaniard has agreed a move after being transfer-listed by Wolves last month.
Jonny was put up for sale after a training ground clash.
The Express & Star says Jonny will move to PAOK in a free transfer, with Wolves also covering a percentage of his wages.
Jonny has a deal with Wolves to 2025.
Since Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League in 2018, Jonny has been one of the club’s most consistent and important players.
Despite two serious knee injuries, the Spain international has made 134 appearances in all competitions, but the likelihood is that he has played his last game for the West Midlands outfit.
Celta Vigo recently shown interest in their former player, but ultimately decided to sign Newcastle United’s Javi Manquillo.
But over the weekend, word spread that PAOK was keeping an eye on things before attempting to bring Jonny in for the summer or in January.
The Express & Star claims that talks have recently taken place between Jonny’s representatives and the Greek group.
According to reports, PAOK is moving closer to reaching a personal terms agreement with the adaptable full-back in an attempt to get his services as soon as feasible.
Currently leading the Greek premier division, Razvan Lucescu’s team is only six points ahead of Olympiacos, who are in fourth place.
Additionally, they are in the Europa Conference League’s round of 16, and Jonny seems to be thought of as a player who can provide the team experience and quality.
According to the report, the clubs have not yet agreed on a cost, but Wolves is well-known for wanting to improve their FFP standing by the end of the month.
Since coming in as a late replacement during Wolves’ 2-1 victory over Manchester City on September 30, Jonny has not appeared in a game for the team.
