In the postseason, he hit three additional home runs, two of which came in the Division Series and a huge one off Max Scherzer in the NLCS that helped the Braves win the World Series. MLB history: Nolan Ryan defeats the Tigers 6-0 while pitching his second no-hitter of the year. Ryan struck out 17 batters in a nine-inning no-hitter, which is a record.
