Turner has performed admirably overall. He is a capable shot blocker.
He has, however, occasionally felt uneasy. He will also be aware that fellow summer signing Odysseas Vlachodimos is closely monitoring him.
Currently, the captain is observing from the sidelines. Despite being on the squad, he hasn’t played in the last three matches.
That speaks more to the intense competition at center defense than it does to his prior accomplishments. For instance, he excelled during the victory against Chelsea, and his performance was all the more impressive given that it occurred just a few days after his uncle passed away tragically.
Though he may currently be below others on the food chain, Worrall will always take a stand and be counted. Don’t undervalue his role in the changing room either.
McKenna hasn’t made the team, although Worrall has at least been on the bench recently. The Scot was terrific at Stamford Bridge, just like his teammate. He had, however, had a rocky start before then.
