Joe Burrow Out for Season as NFL Investigates Bengals for Leaving Him Off Injury Report

Due to an injury, Joe Burrow will miss the remainder of the NFL season.
Due to a wrist injury that kept him from playing well against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, the Cincinnati Bengals announced on Friday that the quarterback will miss the whole 2023โ24 season.
The injury disclosure and Burrow’s early departure from Thursday’s game due to wrist soreness he received after a touchdown in the second quarter have the NFL allegedly investigating the Bengals. Eventually, the 26-year-old quarterback warmed up on the sidelines rather than taking the field again.
Head coach Zac Taylor declared during a press conference on Friday that Burrow’s season would end early because of a “acute injury” that happened.
“[He’s] obviously very disappointed because he likes leading this team and knows the opportunities that lie in front of us,” Taylor stated to reporters. “But once more, he’s reacting well. Only what you have power over is in your control. His next task for us is to carry on leading this team in a different capacity.”

The news conference is being held two days after, according to ESPN, the Bengals organization released a video showing Burrow getting off the team bus with what seems to be a cast on his hand. And now the publication is stating that, in accordance with league regulations, the NFL will look into why Burrow was not included on the Bengals’ injury report before to the game.
